We’re Live: Welcome to YourBestManager.com!
I’m super happy you are here because today is an exciting day. YourBestManager.com has just launched! An online resource for future people managers and first-time managers is now available and I can’t wait to hear what you think!
This is probably pretty obvious from the home page, but there are 3 main components to YourBestManager.com.
The Podcast: Launching November 21st 2016, this is an web show that will you can subscribe to on iTunes and listen to 3 days a week. Featuring interviews with senior managers and leadership experts as well as some great people management advice… this has to be one of the coolest projects I’ve worked on in my life!
The Free Management Course: I’ve spent the past few months working on this 10 day people management course called Fully Engaged in 10 Days. You get 10 emails and 10 video lessons that teach you three critical components to employee engagement. I wanted to do a course on employee engagement first, because the “secrets” to happy and productive employees are foundational to management, not add-ons. It’s not a thing for senior leaders to figure out, but its something every manager needs to figure out… and it was quite a bit of fun to put together as well!
The Partnership: Now this is the biggest project on my plate right now and the most exciting. That’s because I am taking everything I know about managing people (and a ton of great stuff from other leadership experts) and putting it into an online community and mentorship platform. It’s a place for future managers to get manager-ready and first-time managers to build leadership skills. If you are a manager, that means that you can find support and guidance as you grow your team. If you have a team of managers, this means that you can give your upcoming and new managers access to some great tools and coaching!
I’m not sure how you came across YourBestManager.com today, but I look forward to learning how I can serve you. So please drop me a line and let me know what you think and what you’d like to see as this online resource develops!
Thanks for visiting!
